WORSHIP - Bear Creek Friends Church meets regularly for worship at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday. Our worship usually consists of a period of singing of hymns and choruses, combined with open worship, where Friends may share testimonies or concerns. Following a time of prayer, our pastor usually presents a sermon. A children's program is held during worship for those of elementary school age and under.
EDUCATION - Christian education is an important part of Bear Creek Friends Church. Sunday School meets every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and consists of seven classes for persons of all ages.
YOUTH - Our high school Sunday school class is very active, and they participate in our worship services on a regular basis. Outings for the youth are held throughout the year.
FELLOWSHIP - Bear Creek hosts events for fellowship nearly every month, usually on the first Sunday evening of the month. These activities include picnics, mother-daughter and father-son banquets, Christmas activities, and others.
WOMEN'S MINISTRIES - Bear Creek's "Ladies Aid Society" has existed for over one hundred years. This group meets monthly and undertakes many activities to support the church.
COMMUNITY - Bear Creek is quite active in the community, supporting the local food pantries, helping the needy through our social concerns committee, supporting the Randolph County Crisis Pregnancy Center, and many other activities. Bear Creek also supports a Kids Hope mentoring program at Deerfield Elementary School.

Children's programming is available during our worship services, as well.

Zach has pastored Bear Creek since July of 2017. He got his bachelor's degree in ministry from Bethel College and his master's from Barclay. He married his wife, Courtney, in 2009, and they have four children.
Kevin Huffman
Presiding Clerk of the Monthly Meeting
The presiding clerk is the presiding officer of the monthly business meeting of the church. Kevin Huffman has attended Bear Creek for nearly twenty years. He is a local businessman and has been married to Pam since 1979. They have five children and 18 grandchildren.
Greg Hinshaw
Presiding Clerk of Ministry and Oversight
The ministry and oversight is the body of elders of the local church. Greg Hinshaw has attended Bear Creek since childhood. He is a school administrator and has been married to Katie since 2010. They have three children.
